Chryed lost love
A month on....
A week ago the family had finally gotten confirmation of Yasmin's ADHD diagnosis, and had decided while they all learn to cope and navigate the condition it would be best if Matilda spent some time with her grandparents.
Yasmin had begun to miss her awfully, she didn't understand why her dad's had decided to send her away? She needed them! The best place for Matilda to be was with them!
Yasmin was the only one who could get her to drink all her bottles, the one who sung her back to sleep if she woke up unexpectedly and the only one who Matilda would giggle at.
Having had enough of the arrangement, When Christian had left the room to go and make her some lunch she had unbolted the door and snuck out.
Why should everyone get to make the decisions on her behalf?
Quickly she ran across the square and knocked on her Grampa and Grandma's door.
"Yasmin?!" Masood said, shocked to see her as he opened the door.
"I want to see Tilly!" She said firmly.
"You're missing her aren't you?" Masood asked as Yasmin nodded, as tears sprung to her eyes.
"Come in, she's just playing with some toys." Masood smiled.
"Thank you." Yasmin smiled as she entered the house and went through into the lounge.
"Tilly!" Yasmin exclaimed as she rushed over to her sister.
"I missed you SO much!" Yasmin said happily as Matilda kicked her legs and babbled.
"I promise, you're coming home." Yasmin smiled as she tickled Matilda's stomach making her giggle.
Suddenly there was a loud banging at the door.
"Is Yasmin here?!" She heard a voice say as she internally face palmed. She forgot to tell her Daddy where she was going.
"Yeah she's just in the lounge with Matilda." Masood said as the individual came running through.
"Yasmin!" Christian said as he ran over to the girl, hugging her tightly.
"God I was thinking all sorts! What happened?" Christian asked.
"You took Matilda away! I haven't seen her for nearly a week, i missed her!" Yasmin snapped.
"I'm sorry. That wasn't right of us. But that doesn't excuse you letting yourself out of the flat and running halfway across the square." Christian said as Yasmin nodded.
"I just wanted to see Tilly. No one asked what i wanted. I want her back home with us, as a family!" Yasmin said firmly.
"We just wanted to make sure we were giving you as much attention as possible, and helping you to adjust as well as possible." Christian said as he started to see where himself and Syed had gone wrong.
"Can we take Tilly home with us?" Yasmin pleaded.
"Go on then, go help Grampa pack her clothes." Christian grinned as Yasmin ran off.
Yep, Yasmin was definitely going to be the death of him one day.
Until next my fellow friends...
BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :)
